Vivek Ramaswamy Climbs 2024 Presidential Betting Odds For Republican Nominee

2024 GOP candidate Vivek Ramaswamy speaking in front of an American flag

With the looming potential of former President Donald Trump being found guilty of any of his pending alleged crimes, the GOP needs a new hero should he become ineligible for office.

That de facto Republican candidate has been Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for years now, but his campaign has fallen flat when presented in front of a national audience.

A surging GOP potential is Vivek Ramaswamy, an American entrepreneur who is currently the youngest candidate running in 2024.

The odds at legal election betting sites place Ramaswamy as either 2a or 2b in the Republican Party nominee lines, depending on which book is being browsed.

  • Tim Scott +2500
  • Chris Christie +3500
  • Glenn Youngkin +3500

Who Is Vivek Ramaswamy?

Ramaswamy is a 37-year-old businessman, author, and now Republican Party candidate for the President of the United States in 2024. He is from Cincinnati, Ohio, and is the child of immigrants from India.

He is a practitioner of the Hindu religion, has a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University, and a J.D. from Yale. He declared his candidacy for POTUS on February 21st of this year despite no prior political experience.

While Vivek would seem to be the popular alternative to DeSantis at the moment, they both share similar anti-woke policies. Also central to his campaign is religion. He believes there is a God and that there are two genders – male and female.

Ramaswamy recently dismissed the Juneteenth holiday as “useless.” His rationale? Redundancy with other holidays that are already on the books.

Here is a take from Vivek’s Twitter account in June.

Odds to Win the 2024 US Presidential Election

  • Joe Biden +170
  • Donald Trump Sr. +200
  • Gavin Newsom +850
  • Ron DeSantis +1100
  • Robert F. Kennedy Jr. +1200
  • Vivek Ramaswamy +1600

Both Ramaswamy and DeSantis will be present at the first GOP debate on August 23rd, an event that Donald Trump is expected to miss. This national spotlight will be Vivek’s opportunity to propel himself ahead of DeSantis.

While Ramaswamy is neck-and-neck with DeSantis in the Republican odds, political prop bets for the overall Presidency rank Ron well ahead of Vivek.

US Presidential Election 2024 Winner

  • Joe Biden +175
  • Donald Trump Sr. +225
  • Gavin Newsom +1500
  • Robert Kennedy, Jr +1500
  • Ron DeSantis +1500
  • Vivek Ramaswamy +2000

With the political indictment odds suggesting that Trump will be found guilty of at least one count levied against him, the results of the GOP debate could determine not only the next Republican nominee but also the overall winner of the next election.
