About Dancing with the Stars Season 29 - 2020

Dancing with the Stars premiered on ABC in 2005. The show features a group of celebrities (actors, professional athletes, reality stars, politicians, etc.), each paired with one professional dancer in a weekly choreography competition against one another.

After each dance routine, the pairs are immediately given a score between one and ten by each of the judges on the panel. After the performances are finished, fans are given the opportunity to vote on their favorite dance couples.

The couple with the lowest scores between the judges and fan votes is sent home until the winning pair remains.
