WWE Night Of Champions: The United States Title Could Change Hands

On Saturday, June 28th, Peacock will stream WWE’s Premium Live Event, Night of Champions. This event debuted in 2007 and has undergone several changes in format and presentation over the years.

The PLE used to feature the defense of every WWE championship on the card, but now it has taken on the format of other non-gimmicked events like Backlash.

Odds for betting on WWE matches have been posted for nearly the entire card, with some fights garnering lines at multiple sportsbooks.

WWE Undisputed Championship Match

  • John Cena -3000, -2000
  • CM Punk +900, +750

With a title like Night of Champions, the promotion’s highest belt should be contested in the main event. That will be the case this Saturday, and there are currently odds available from both BetOnline and BetUS.

With this being Cena’s final run in the business, it doesn’t make any sense for him to lose until toward the end of the year. That reality is projected in the betting odds, as CM Punk is a distant underdog at either 9-to-1 or 7.5-to-1, depending on where you place your wager.

King Of The Ring Winner

  • Cody Rhodes -700
  • Randy Orton +400

Barring injury, it would make a lot of sense for Cena’s run to end against former WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes. If that is going to happen, Rhodes will need to be booked strong in the interim.

Online pro wrestling sportsbooks also believe in that strong booking, and are favoring him by 900 points in the moneyline odds against Randy Orton, suggesting that Cody will become the 2025 King of the Ring.

Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross

  • Sami Zayn -300
  • Karrion Kross +200

It seems that Karrion Kross will have to wait until at least the next PLE until his needed push will begin, as Zayn is favored in the odds by a significant margin at Night of Champions.

Queen of the Ring Winner

  • Jade Cargill -500
  • Asuka +300

Jade Cargill has regained her ring shape following significant time off due to injury and is now favored by 600 points in the moneyline odds to become the 2025 WWE Queen of the Ring.

Women’s Street Fight

  • Rhea Ripley -700
  • Raquel Rodriguez +400

Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez will settle their differences on Saturday afternoon in a street fight. Ripley is a strong favorite and looks to wrestle for a championship, perhaps at SummerSlam, following the win.

WWE United States Championship

  • Jacob Fatu (Champion) -220
  • Solo Sikoa +155

Of all the entertainment prop bets offered for Night of the Champions, the line on the US Championship features the narrowest separation between the two competitors.

Champion Jacob Fatu holds a -220 moneyline, but Solo Sikoa is hovering near even at +155. Sikoa has been in a slump as of late, so it would make some sense in the storyline to give Solo a win.

However, Fatu has been presented as indestructible in the ring, so Sikoa may not be the appropriate opponent, and now may not be the appropriate time for Jacob to lose.

WWE Intercontinental Championship

  • Dominik Mysterio -700
  • AJ Styles +400

The odds for this match are now offline due to an unlisted injury that Dominik Mysterio has suffered.
