Is It Legal To Bet On TGL?

Yes, it is legal to bet on pro golf matches, and you will be able to find odds at any reputable sportsbook that caters to American gamblers. Golf is an immensely popular betting sport, so locating lines for matches and futures shouldn’t be a problem.

You can legally bet on the TGL at locally regulated sportsbooks if you meet the minimum gambling age and are standing within the state that governs it. Offshore sportsbooks are available across the entire country, and there are no federal or state laws that suggest you cannot use them.

    What Is TGL Golf?

The first match of TGL Golf (the TMRW Golf League) was played in January of 2025, and involves team-based play as opposed to single-player tournaments hosted by the PGA. There are six total teams that consist of players on the PGA Tour.

Each match features both triples and singles. Matches are played indoors at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, where a first-of-its-kind virtual golf course was constructed. A 53’x64’ screen separates the field into two halves.

On one half, players tee off into the virtual screen, where any of up to 30 custom holes can be played. The other half features a putting green where players wrap up each hole, complete with sand filled bunkers and synthetic grass.

Each hole is worth one point. If there is a tie at the end of regulation, an overtime period is played to determine the winner. The team with the most points wins the match.

TGL Bet Types – How To Bet On TGL Golf

The most common bet types for TGL are futures odds for winners, head-to-head game lines, and prop bets for in-match occurrences.

    TGL Betting Lines

Here is an example of a TGL betting line:

Atlanta vs. The Bay Betting Line

    • Atlanta Drive (Horschel/Thomas/Cantlay/Glover) -130
    • The Bay (MWLee/Aberg/Clark/Lowry) EVEN

These match lines allow you to bet on the team of golfers that you think will win. The money that you can win if you are correct is based on the moneyline odds weighted against the amount that you risk.

The Bay features EVEN odds, which means you can win the same amount that you risk if they beat Atlanta. If you bet on Atlanta's -130 odds, you'll need to put up $1.30 to earn a dollar. This is because Atlanta is favored to win, and sportsbooks aren't willing to put up the same amount of money that is wagered.

    TGL Prop Bets

Props (short for propositions) take action on occurrences that happen during a match. They can involve anything from the first team to score, the longest drive, whether there'll be overtime, or any other significant occurrence. Here's an example:

    To Take The Lead First

    • New York (Schauffele/Fitzpatrick/Fowler/Young) -155
    • Jupiter Links (TKim/Woods/Homas/Kisner) +120

Golf props work exactly the same way that game lines do. Pick the occurrence you think will happen and win the bet if you are correct. The moneyline odds also work the same way. New York is favored and has a negative moneyline and you’ll need to bet $1.55 to net $1. Since Jupiter's odds are positive, you can actually earn more than you risk (a $1 bet on +120 can earn $1.20 in net profits).

    TGL Parlays

A golf parlay bet is when you combine multiple wagers together. Each bet that you add to the parlay is called a leg, and each site has a limit (usually ten or more) that you can include. All legs of the parlay must win to earn a payout.

The reason that parlay betting is so popular is that the payouts grow exponentially with each leg that you add. While this type of gambling is rarely successful, you can earn a massive payout on a bet of a dollar or two.

    TGL Futures

Futures bets involve gambling on the team that will win the TGL Championship and will include all active teams that are still eligible. Using the following example, we can determine that LA is the most likely team to win.

    2025 TGL Futures

    • Los Angeles GC +350
    • The Bay GC +350
    • Boston Common GC +375
    • Atlanta Drive GC +400
    • New York GC +550
    • Jupiter Links GC +800

The moneyline on each TGL team is positive, which is common with early-season futures. Bets will not pay out until the end of the season, which could take several weeks or months, depending on when the wager is placed.

    Live Betting On Golf

In-match betting involves gambling on TGL results while the players are still competing. These are odds that remain online throughout the match and work the exact same way that pregame props and lines do.

The only difference is that in-match betting lines can be removed at any time that the sportsbook wants to, without notice. If that happens, check any of the other sites we list here to see if they have in-match lines still posted.

Sportsbook Apps Offering Golf Betting Lines

    mobile bet icon

Betting on golf using sportsbook apps can be done legally throughout the entire United States. While some states permit locals to download sportsbook apps and use them to gamble on their smartphones or tablets, they can only be used in those regions and will not allow wagers to be placed while outside their borders.

The sports betting apps that we recommend are based offshore and let you place mobile golf wagers from anywhere in the country. Since they are located outside of the USA, they are not subject to local regulations or minimum ages.

Another perk of international gambling apps is that they don't need to be permanently downloaded. Instead, you can bet on TGL odds via a mobile web browser by simply logging into your account. All you need is a web-ready device and a connection to the Internet to get started.
