Following one of the more frigid rounds of NFL Playoff betting in recent memory, the final eight franchises are poised to battle it out for a spot in their respective conference championship games.
The NFL Playoffs schedule for the Divisional Round has been split in half, with two games on Saturday and two on Sunday. First up on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. is the top-seeded Baltimore Ravens hosting the AFC South Champion Houston Texans.
Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens
- Texans Point Spread: +9.0
- Texans Moneyline: +305
- Ravens Point Spread: -9.0
- Ravens Moneyline: -410
- Over/Under: 45.0
The odds for betting on the Ravens will require wagers of $4.10 just to earn a dollar on a Baltimore victory. While CJ Stroud and the Texans were impressive against the Browns during the Wild Card Round, the Ravens have a knack for rolling teams and leaving them in the dust.
Still, the nine-point spread seems gargantuan considering the potential of Houston.
Green Bay Packers vs. San Francisco 49ers
- Packers Point Spread: +9.5
- Packers Moneyline: +340
- 49ers Point Spread: -9.5
- 49ers Moneyline: -460
- Over/Under: 50.0
At 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, San Francisco will host the Green Bay Packers, who just bumped off the Dallas Cowboys in impressive fashion. Much like the Texans, the Packers aren’t getting much respect at online sportsbooks despite their performance in Dallas last weekend.
In this case, we’re tempted to bet on the 49ers to cover the 9.5 points because lesser San Francisco squads have owned better Packers teams in the postseason in recent years.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Detroit Lions
- Buccaneers Point Spread: +6.0
- Buccaneers Moneyline: +225
- Lions Point Spread: -6.0
- Lions Moneyline: -275
- Over/Under: 48.5
Sunday at 3:00 p.m. is when the Lions and Buccaneers will kick off in Detroit. The beauty of this contest is that no matter which team wins, either Detroit or Tampa Bay will earn a spot in the NFC Championship Game.
We’re having a hard time deciding which side of the spread to bet on, but we’re liking the over in this matchup.
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills
- Chiefs Point Spread: +3.0
- Chiefs Moneyline: +130
- Bills Point Spread: -3.0
- Bills Moneyline: -150
- Over/Under: 45.5
Closing out the NFL Playoffs Divisional Round is another entry in the saga between quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen. Mahomes has won both postseason games against Allen but is 1-3 against Buffalo during the regular season.
Both KC and the Bills are operating under a different look this year and are heating up at just the right time. We believe the home-field advantage and the weather that comes with it will dictate the outcome of this game. We’re betting on the Bills to win, but we’re not sure about them covering the three points.
