The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadephia Eagles have made it to Super Bowl LIX, creating a rematch of the big game from two years ago. The Chiefs beat the Eagles in SB LVII by a final score of 38-35, and legal online sportsbooks are projecting a similar result this time around.
The opening Super Bowl line favors the Chiefs to win by 2 points and become the first NFL team to win three Lombardi Trophies in a row.
Super Bowl 59 Betting Line
- Point Spread: Chiefs -2.0, Eagles +2.0
- Moneyline Odds To Win: Chiefs -126, Eagles +119

One reason to consider betting on the Philadelphia Eagles to win is the presence of running back Saquon Barkley. He wasn’t a part of the Eagles roster during their last SB run, and there’s good reason to believe that he’ll make a difference against Kansas City.
Saquon Barkley 2024-25 Stats
- Regular Season: 345 carries, 2,005 yards, 5.8 YPC, 13 touchdowns, 33 catches, 278 yards, 2 touchdowns
- Playoffs: 66 carries, 442 yards, 6.7 YPC, 5 touchdowns, 7 catches, 35 yards
Barkley blistered opponents to the tune of 5.8 yards per carry during the regular season. In the NFL Playoffs, he’s stepped his game up, averaging just under a yard higher and scoring five touchdowns.
“I tried to downplay it in my head, but it’s just amazing, man. It’s amazing. We’re here. The Super Bowl… But the goal wasn’t just getting there. The goal is to win. And we’re going to celebrate and enjoy this and get right back to work.”
Saquon Barkley After Winning The NFC Championship Game Over The Commanders
Philly entered the Conference Championship round as the most probable team to win SB 59, but now that the matchup is set, KC has the edge.
Quarterbacks become the Super Bowl MVP over half the time. NFL sportsbooks feature Mahomes in the lead in their MVP futures, which makes sense because they are favored to win the game.
It is interesting, though, that Barkley is listed above Jalen Hurts. This does imply that a Philadelphia championship could ride on Barkley’s two legs.
Super Bowl MVP Odds
- Patrick Mahomes (KC) -105
- Saquon Barkley (PHI) +275
- Jalen Hurts (PHI) +375
- Travis Kelce (KC) +2000
- Xavier Worthy (KC) +2800
- A.J. Brown (PHI) +3300
- DeVonta Smith (PHI) +5000
- Kareem Hunt (KC) +5500
- Chris Jones (KC) +6000
- Marquise Brown (KC) +7000
- Jalen Carter (PHI) +7500
- Isiah Pacheco (KC) +9000
The Chiefs were susceptible to the run against the Buffalo Bills. James Cook racked up 85 yards on 13 carries and added two touchdowns against KC.
Current Super Bowl prop bets suggest Barley will get at least 97 yards and at least one TD on the ground versus KC.
