Just 20 UFC pay-per-views ago, back at 269, Amanda Nunes dropped her bantamweight tile in a surprising upset loss to Julianna Peña. The loss had her questioning retirement.
Eight months later in July of 2022, Nunes regained her title from Peña at UFC 277, winning the fight via decision. On Saturday, June 10th, Amanda will step back into the Octagon for the first time since winning back the championship and face Irene Aldana of Mexico.
The main event was originally scheduled as Nunes Peña 3, but Julianna had to pull out due to injury.
