The 2024 MLS regular season wrapped up on Saturday, completing the bracket and seedings for the playoffs.
Before each series in the MLS Cup begins, there are two wild card games that need to be settled to decide which teams will be the eighth seed in the Eastern and Western Conferences.
Tonight at 7:30 PM, CF Montréal will host the Atlanta United at Saputo Stadium.
CF Montréal vs. Atlanta United

- Moneyline: CF Montréal +140, Atlanta United +175, Draw +265
- Over: 2.5, 3.0 (-102)
- Under: 2.5, 3.0 (-118)
Atlanta holds a slim edge in the odds posted at MLS sportsbook sites. The winner will earn the right to play a three-game series against the top seed in the East, Inter Miami.
The Vancouver Whitecaps or Portland Timbers will win the Western Conference’s final seed tomorrow at 10:30 PM.

The game is at BC Place, but the visiting Timbers are well ahead in the moneyline odds to win by over 100 points. If current MLS betting lines are accurate in their projections, Portland will win and face the Los Angeles FC in the first round of the playoffs.

According to the current futures, Inter Miami has the best shot at winning the 2024 MLS Cup. They are the top seed in the East and are projected to easily get past either wild card qualifier.
Miami is led by international superstar Lionel Messi, whose presence in 2024 has revitalized the MLS and raised the league’s profile considerably.
The LA Galaxy is the most likely team to face Inter Miami in the MLS Cup Finals. They enter the postseason as the second seed and appear poised for an all-LA Western Conference Finals against their cross-town rivals, the Los Angeles FC.
It is difficult to consider the Columbus Crew an underdog, considering they are the reigning MLS champions and the second seed in the East behind Miami. Their impeccable record of 19-6 places them only two games behind Miami, and their +650 futures practically dares gamblers to lay some action on it.
