The 2024 NFL Draft begins on Thursday, April 25th, and concludes on Saturday. Downtown Detroit, Michigan, will be this year’s draft venue as the league continues to experiment with rotating locations for the event.
Lions fans will have to wait longer than usual for their first-round selection, as their good fortunes in 2023 have granted them the 29th overall pick. Here is the current order of the first round as of this writing.

Who Will The Bears Select First Overall?
The odds for betting on the NFL Draft overwhelmingly favor the Chicago Bears’ selection of USC Trojans quarterback Caleb Williams. Chicago all but guaranteed they’d choose a QB after trading their previous starter, Justin Fields, to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Bears also possess the ninth overall selection, giving the franchise the opportunity for a quality reset if they can land a stud on their second pick.
Who Will The Commanders Pick?
NFL Draft prop bets imply that 2023 Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels will be the second quarterback off the board. Daniels stands at 6’4″ and weighs in at 210 pounds – ideal size for the pros. The only doubt placed on Jayden’s outlook is the presence of numerous other QB prospects at the top of the draft.
Otherwise, Daniels seems like a no-brainer pick for Washington under new head coach Dan Quinn. Here are some highlights from Daniel’s 2023 season with the LSU Tigers.
Will The Patriots Select A Quarterback Third?
The odds for betting on the New England Patriots suggest they will draft North Carolina Tarheels quarterback Drake Maye. However, Maye’s odds of being selected second by the Commanders place him right behind Jayden Daniels.
Current NFL Draft props imply that Maye and Daniels will come off the board second and third, and the order depends entirely on who Washington decides to choose.
Who Will Draft Marvin Harrison, Jr.?
The son of NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver Marvin Harrison looks and plays much like his father, except he stands four inches taller and over 20 pounds heavier. There hasn’t been a can’t-miss prospect at the WR position like Harrison since perhaps Larry Fitzgerald over two decades ago, and the NFL odds say he’ll go to the Arizona Cardinals at 4.
Harrison is also the odds-on favorite to be the first non-QB drafted in 2024 at NFL betting sites.
