The NFC East enters the 2026 season with Philadelphia and Dallas priced as the clear favorites, but the gap is not enormous. Online NFL sportsbooks are listing the Eagles at +140 to win the division, followed by the Cowboys at +190, Washington at +475, and New York at +575. Philadelphia and Dallas also sit at +2000 and +2200, respectively, to win Super Bowl LXI, while the Commanders and Giants are each +6500.
Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia remains the team to beat, and the futures market reflects it. The Eagles are +1000 to win the NFC and +2000 to win the Super Bowl, with Jalen Hurts at +2500 for MVP.
However, their receiving corps looks different after A.J. Brown was traded to New England for future draft capital. Philadelphia added Hollywood Brown, Elijah Moore and Dontayvion Wicks, while first-round rookie Makai Lemon gives the offense another high-upside option. Lemon and DeVonta Smith have both missed some August practice time with injuries, while edge rusher Jonathan Greenard opened camp on the PUP list.
Even with those questions, an Eagles-Cowboys 1-2 finish is the shortest exact-order play at +350.
Dallas Cowboys
Dallas is the biggest threat to Philadelphia according to the odds. The odds for betting on the Cowboys are +1100 to win the NFC and +2200 to win Super Bowl LXI, while Dak Prescott is a notable +1500 MVP candidate.
Dallas spent heavily on defense in the draft, moving up to select safety Caleb Downs and selecting edge rusher Malachi Lawrence in the first round. The Cowboys already had Quinnen Williams and George Pickens from previous trades, giving them established talent on both sides of the ball.
Injuries are worth monitoring. Running back Jaydon Blue has been dealing with a shoulder issue, while tight end Princeton Fant suffered a torn ACL and partially torn MCL that will keep him out for a significant time. Dallas finishing second is priced at +250.
Washington Commanders
Washington is a long shot at +475 to win the division, +2800 to win the NFC, and +6500 to win the Super Bowl. The Commanders still have Jayden Daniels as the centerpiece, and he returned to the field this offseason after an elbow injury ended his 2025 season early.
Washington added Stefon Diggs in August and reinforced the defense with Odafe Oweh and Leo Chenal, while rookie linebacker Sonny Styles is +750 for Defensive Rookie of the Year. One concern is the offensive line, with left tackle Laremy Tunsil sidelined during camp. Cornerback Trey Amos has also dealt with an ankle issue.
New York Giants
The Giants are the division long shot at +575, with +3500 odds to win the NFC and +6500 to win the Super Bowl. Their offseason was aggressive.
New York traded Dexter Lawrence to Cincinnati, then used two first-round picks on linebacker Arvell Reese and tackle Francis Mauigoa. Reese is +875 for Defensive Rookie of the Year. The Giants also added Odell Beckham Jr. and, most recently, Najee Harris.
Malik Nabers’ recovery from the knee injury that ended his 2025 season remains one of the biggest variables, although he has returned to practice work. With New York priced at just +150 to finish fourth, the market still sees the Giants as the NFC East’s most likely basement team.
