The final 12 programs selected for the 2025-26 College Football Playoffs have been announced, cementing their path to the National Championship Game in Miami Gardens on January 19th.
The ACC Champion Duke Blue Devils did not make the CFP due to their low ranking, but the University of Miami was selected based on their regular-season win over Notre Dame.
First-round game lines for College Football Playoff betting imply that the higher seed will win in each matchup. However, the #8 vs. #9 matchup between the Alabama Crimson Tide and Oklahoma Sooners favors the home team by only 1 point, suggesting the game could go either way.

The Second Round And Beyond
During the final weeks of the regular season, our staff keeps track of the College Football Playoff bracket betting by combining game lines, national championship futures, and conference championship odds from multiple sportsbooks.
The following bracket reflects the latest projections based on these CFP odds.

As stated earlier, the home teams will most likely advance in the opening round, but the top three seeds are also the top three programs in the odds to go all the way.
College Football Championship Futures
- Ohio State (#2)+240
- Indiana (#1)+290
- Georgia (#3)+500
- Oregon (#5)+800
- Texas Tech (#4)+800
- Texas A&M (#7)+1700
- Miami Florida (#10)+2000
- Alabama (#9)+2500
- Mississippi (#6)+2500
- Oklahoma (#8)+4000
- James Madison+50000
- Tulane (#11)+75000
The most intriguing potential pairing in the second round is the Texas Tech Red Raiders vs. the Oregon Ducks. Both teams possess the exact same moneyline odds in the most recent NCAAF futures, so the eventual game line should be within a point or two once it debuts.
Despite the Indiana Hoosiers’ herculean defeat of the top-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes for the Big Ten Championship, oddsmakers don’t believe they have the makings of a national champion.
The most likely scenario places the Hoosiers and Buckeyes in the title game for a rematch, and sportsbooks are doubtful that Indiana can go 2-0 on OSU.
That said, the futures are slightly different at each online sportsbook, so definitely shop around first before committing to the odds at your favorite site.
