Wrestling Betting Preview For WWE Night Of Champions And AEW Double-Or-Nothing

Promos for 2023 AEW Double-or-Nothing and WWE Night of Champions

For fans of sports entertainment, this weekend features two major events from competing promotions, AEW and WWE. On Saturday, WWE Night of Champions will air from the Jeddah Super Dome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. On Sunday, AEW will broadcast their Double-or-Nothing pay-per-view, the promotion’s longest-running event.

In anticipation of these two programs, legal online pro wrestling sportsbooks have created a few prop bets for known matches on the cards. Here’s our take on what’s been produced thus far.

Betting On WWE’s Night Of Champions

Because of the time differential between Saudi Arabia and the United States, Night of Champions will begin at 1 PM this Saturday afternoon. Don’t sleep in, or you’ll miss the PLE and the WWE betting odds that go with it.

Here are the current entertainment prop bets being offered for Night of Champions, with moneyline odds presented in the order of BetOnline.AG and BetUS.com.pa where available.

Singles Match Winner – Night of Champions

  • Brock Lesnar -160, -280
  • Cody Rhodes +120, +185

Check out the variance on what’s being offered in the rematch from WWE Backlash between Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar. Cody was able to beat Brock at Backlash and get back on the winning track following his loss to Roman Reigns and WrestleMania, but now Lesnar is favored to get his revenge at Night of Champions.

Players that want to bet on Cody Rhodes to win should do so at BetUS because they’re paying out $0.65 more on the dollar than BetOnline. Brock bettors should lay their action at BetOnline as it’ll cost $1.20 less to earn a $1.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match Winner – Night of Champions

  • Gunther (c) -5000
  • Mustapha Ali +1000

WWE RAW Women’s Championship Match Winner – Night of Champions

  • Bianca Belair (c) -200
  • Asuka +150

Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch *(BetUS Only)

  • Trish Stratus +350
  • Becky Lynch -600

WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship Match Winner – Night of Champions

  • Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens (c) -500
  • Solo Sikoa & Roman Reigns +300

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match Winner – Night of Champions

  • Seth Rollins -1000, -800
  • AJ Styles +500, +425

Also worth mentioning is the awarding of a brand-new championship belt in WWE. Seth “Freakin'” Rollins is heavily favored to win this new strap, but many critics are suggesting that the belt runs the risk of being considered worthless by fans.

WWE Night of Champions can be seen streaming on Peacock.

Betting On AEW Double-or-Nothing

This Sunday at 8 PM, AEW Double-or-Nothing begins in Las Vegas, Nevada’s T-Mobile Arena, topped off by a main event where MJF runs the risk of losing his Heavyweight Championship in a quadruple-threat match.

Entertainment betting sites BetOnline and BetUS have once again provided some variance for line shopping and are presented in that order below.

AEW Women’s World Championship Match Winner – Double or Nothing

  • Jamie Hayter (c) -400
  • Toni Storm +250

AEW World Tag Team Championship Match Winner – Double or Nothing

  • FTR (c) -1000, -850
  • Jay Lethal & Jeff Jarrett +500, +450

Tag Team Match Winner – Double or Nothing

  • The Elite -400
  • Blackpool Combat Club +250

TNT Championship Match Winner – Double or Nothing

  • Wardlow (c) -800
  • Christian Cage +425

AEW World Championship Match Winner – Double or Nothing

  • MJF (c) -5000, -400
  • Darby Allin +500, +500
  • Sammy Guevara +600, +600
  • Jack Perry +800, +800

Despite the ability of the AEW Championship to change hands without the champion being pinned, Maxwell Jacob Friedman is still an overwhelming favorite to win. His -5000 odds of winning translate to a 98% probability of success.

Because of his chances of winning, AEW bets of $50 will be required to net a one-dollar gain by wagering on an MJF win.
