College football’s regular season is now over. The CFP Selection Committee has filled out their first-ever 12-team bracket and is as follows for the 2024-25 NCAAF postseason.
Final CFP Bracket For 2024-25
Odds for CFP betting have been updated to reflect the final twelve programs in play. Despite the Texas Longhorns’ losing the SEC Championship Game to the Georgia Bulldogs, they’ve leaped the Oregon Ducks in the odds to win the natty.

Indiana Hoosiers (#10) @ Notre Dame Fighting Irish (#7)

Notre Dame is unbeaten since their upset 16-14 loss to Northern Illinois on September 7th. Had they won that game, the Fighting Irish would have finished as no worse than second behind Oregon and earned the five seed.
The Hoosiers’ only loss came against Ohio State, and this playoff contest against ND is a chance to prove they’re more than a basketball school. The Irish are favored by 7.5 at college football sportsbooks. The winner will play the Georgia Bulldogs in the second round of the CFP schedule.
SMU Mustangs (#11) @ Penn State Nittany Lions (#6)
- Spread: SMU +9.0 (-105), Penn State -9.0 (-115)
- Moneyline: SMU +290, Penn State -380
- Over: 54.0 (-110)

This is by far the easiest quadrant of the CFP Bracket. The winner between SMU and Penn State will play Boise State in the second round, and either team will likely be favored. The early front-runner is Penn State, and they are favored by nine against the Mustangs on the 21st.
Clemson Tigers (#12) @ Texas Longhorns (#5)

- Moneyline: Clemson +335, Texas -450

Clemson beat SMU in the ACC Championship Game and secured the final automatic bid for a conference winner in 2024. Despite the loss, the Mustangs earned the 11-seed, thus bouncing the Alabama Crimson Tide from the CFP.
The winner plays Arizona State, and as mentioned previously, Texas will be favored in all playoff games they make it to this year.
Tennessee Volunteers (#9) @ Ohio State Buckeyes (#8)

If the oddsmakers are correct, Ohio State will beat Tennessee and face Oregon, creating the matchup everyone anticipated for this year’s Big Ten Conference Championship.
The Ducks were only able to beat the Buckeyes by one point at home this year and will create an intriguing matchup in the Rose Bowl on January 1st if it happens.
