NFL Prop Bets For The Rookie Class Follow The 2024 Draft

Marvin Harrison, Jr.

Now that the NFL Draft has concluded, franchises can begin preparing for the upcoming season and finalizing their existing rosters. Online NFL sportsbooks were correct in their unilateral assessment that Caleb Williams of the USC Trojans would be the first player selected in the 2024 Draft.

Prognosticators were also correct in their projection of Jayden Williams and Drake Maye being selected second and third by the Washington Commanders and New England Patriots.

The number four spot was where things got rocky at NFL Draft betting sites. Most books featured Marvin Harrison, Jr. going to the Arizona Cardinals, but others suggested the potential for another team to trade up to four and pick someone else.

Futures for betting on the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year have been posted, and Williams (Chicago Bears) and Harrison (Cardinals) are listed as the two most likely winners.

2024-25 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Odds

  • Caleb Williams +200
  • Marvin Harrison Jr. +650
  • J.J. McCarthy +1000
  • Jayden Daniels +1100
  • Malik Nabers +1200
  • Xavier Worthy +1200
  • Keon Coleman +1400
  • Drake Maye +1600
  • Bo Nix +2000
  • Rome Odunze +2200
  • Brian Thomas Jr. +2800
  • Brock Bowers +3300
  • Michael Penix Jr. +4000

While Williams has been surrounded by a fleet of new offensive talent in Chicago, Harrison should be given serious consideration for two reasons. Marvin is arguably the most pro-ready wide receiver since Larry Fitzgerald came out in 2004, and his instant status as a number one in Arizona will deliver immediate, high-level stat production.

Caleb Williams Prop Bets For Regular Season Stats

  • Interceptions: Over 12.5 -115, Under 12.5 -115
  • Passing TDs: Over 22.5 -130, Under 22.5 +100
  • Passing Yards: Over 3,500.5 -115, Under 3,500.5 -115

NFL prop bets have been created for the top quarterbacks selected in the 2024 NFL Draft that project their totals during their rookie season. Williams is predicted for a moderate performance compared to NFL quarterback standards. Bo Nix (Denver Broncos), JJ McCarthy (Minnesota Vikings), and Jayden Daniels (Washington Commanders) are all forecasted for slightly lower totals than Williams.

Bo Nix Prop Bets For Regular Season Stats

  • Interceptions: Over 11.5 -115, Under 11.5 -115
  • Passing TDs: Over 17.5 -130, Under 17.5 +100
  • Passing Yards: Over 2,950.5 -115, Under 2,950.5 -115

J.J McCarthy Prop Bets For Regular Season Stats

  • Interceptions: Over 12.5 -115, Under 12.5 -115
  • Passing Yards: Over 3,100.5 -115, Under 3,100.5 -115
  • Passing TDs: Under 20.5 -130, Over 20.5 +100

Jayden Daniels Prop Bets For Regular Season Stats

  • Passing TDs: Over 18.5 -125, Under 18.5 -105
  • Passing Yards: Over 3,250.5 -115, Under 3,250.5 -115
  • Rushing TDs: Over 4.5 -115, Under 4.5 -115
  • Rushing Yards: Over 550.5 -115, Under 550.5 -115

While there are no props on the board that imply what Harrison’s 2024 totals will be, there are futures for the NFL DROY. Betting on the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year is like wagering on any other futures odds – you need to keep in mind that the bet will not pay out until after the season is over.

2024-25 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Odds

  • Laiatu Latu +250
  • Dallas Turner +300
  • Quinyon Mitchell +1100
  • Jared Verse +1200
  • Chop Robinson +1600
  • Terrion Arnold +1800
  • Darius Robinson +1800
  • Byron Murphy II +2000
  • Cooper DeJean +2500
  • Nate Wiggins +2500

Laiatu Latu was drafted 15th overall last Thursday by the Indianapolis Colts. He was the first defensive player off the board after 14 consecutive offensive players were selected to start the draft.

Not only was it the first time that fourteen players from the same side of the ball had been selected first, but it was also the first time it had happened consecutively at any point during the draft.

Coming in second is Dallas Turner, a linebacker out of Alabama who was selected by the Vikings at #17.
