The Paris 2024 Summer Games have introduced several new competitions that have captured the world’s attention. Today, competitive breakdancing, or breaking, begins for both men and women.
Each competitor is listed by their nickname and by what is written on their birth certificate – another unique element of this sport.
When a new or strange competition begins to trend, online betting sites usually take notice as well. Breaking futures are available for today’s and tomorrow’s events at several Summer Olympics betting sites, with gold medal odds and medal lines taking action now.
Women’s Olympic Breaking
First are the women, who are competitively referred to as B-Girls. The opening round-robins have already begun as of this writing and can be seen on E! After the round-robin qualifying round, the field narrows to the quarterfinals, semis, and final faceoff.
It is all about style, and these B-Boys and B-Girls have plenty to spare. The women’s gold medal odds favor Japan’s Ami to stand atop the podium tonight, but don’t sleep on China’s 671, who has a real shot at finishing first.
Women’s Breaking Gold Medal Winner
- Ami – Ami Yuasa (JAP) +175
- 671 – Liu Qingyi (CHI) +300

The women’s breaking finals begin this afternoon at 1:19 PM, but we don’t expect these futures to remain active much longer at online Olympics sportsbooks.
Men’s Olympic Breaking
Tomorrow, the B-Boys begin to pop and lock on the international stage, and this time, a couple of North Americans are projected for medals.
Men’s Breaking B-Boys Gold Medal Winner
- Victor – Victor Montalvo (USA) +125
- Phil Wizard – Philip Kim (CAN) +225
- Lee – Lee-Lou Diouf Demierre (NED) +400
- Shigekix – Shigeyuki Nakarai (JPN) +700
- Dany – Danis Civil (FRA) +1200
- Lithe-ing – Xiangyu Qi (CHN) +1800
- Jeffro – Jeffrey Mike Louis (USA) +2000
- Lagaet – Gaetan Rodrigue Alin (FRA) +2200
- Menno – Menno Van Gorp (NED) +2200
- Amir – Amir Zakirov (KAZ) +2500
- Hiro10 – Hiroto Ono (JPN) +2500
- Hongten – Kim Hong-Yul (KOR) +3300
- Quake – Chen Sun (TPE) +4000
- J Attack – Jeffrey Dan Arpie Dunne (AUS) +10000
- Billy – Bilal Mallakh (MAR) +10000
- Kuzya – Oleg Kuznietsov (UKR) +10000
These all-or-nothing bets become a little easier to win when you widen the spread to include a simple medal win. For instance, the United States’s Victor (Montalvo) is heavily favored to win gold, and his +125 moneyline will deliver payouts of $2.25 on bets of $1.
However, his simple odds of winning a medal are set at a staggeringly certain -500. The bigger spread comes at a price, as betting on Victor to win any of the three medals will cost gamblers $5 to net a dollar.
These breakdancing odds won’t last long, so act now to ensure bets are secured in time.
