The men’s and women’s USA basketball teams remain alive in the hunt for the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics as each tournament enters the semifinal round.
Also involved in both the women’s and men’s basketball semifinals is Team France, who has a legitimate shot to play at home for two gold medals this weekend.

Today at 11:30 AM EST, Team France will host Team Germany in the Men’s semifinals, where the home team is a 5.5-point underdog. France was projected to lose in the quarterfinals to Team Canada but ended up winning by a final score of 82-73 on Tuesday.
