The College Football Playoffs Selection Committee will fill out the final 12-team bracket on Sunday but must first wait on the results of the Conference Championship Games happening this Friday and Saturday.

Tulane’s loss to the Memphis Tigers on Thanksgiving negated almost any chance of them making it into the playoffs as the AAC Champions. The Green Wave is a 4-point favorite over the 1-loss Black Knights, who have a lot to prove this weekend.
Big 12 Championship Game Betting Line
Iowa State Cyclones vs. Arizona State Sun Devils (#18)

Iowa State and Arizona State will combine to create possibly the least-sexy championship game the Big 12 has ever produced this Saturday. The kickoff is set for noon, and the Sun Devils are favored by less than a field goal.
Just two weeks ago, the game was supposed to be Colorado vs. BYU, so keep that in mind before expressing any confidence in the oddsmakers’ predictions.
If the Cyclones win, there’s a chance that they’ll be left out of the CFP due to their ranking.
SEC Championship Game Betting Line
Georgia Bulldogs (#7) vs. Texas Longhorns (#3)
- Spread: GA +2.5 (-105), TX -2.5 (-115)
- Moneyline: GA +115, TX -135
- Over: 49.0 (-110)
- Under: 49.0 (-110)
The winner of this game will earn no less than the second seed in this year’s College Football Playoffs. If Texas wins, they will enter the postseason number one if Oregon loses. If Georgia wins, a Penn State victory could place the Lions ahead of the Bulldogs.
College football sportsbooks are favoring the Longhorns to win the SEC in their first year in the conference.
ACC Championship Game
Clemson Tigers (#12) vs. SMU Mustangs (#9)
- Spread: Tigers +2.0 (-110), SMU -2.0 (-110)
- Moneyline: Tigers +105, SMU -125
- Over: 56.0 (-110)
- Under: 56.0 (-110)
Until last weekend, the Miami Hurricanes were on cruise control as the anticipated ACC Champions and CFP qualifiers. The U is no longer involved in either picture, as the Southern Methodist Mustangs are now the favorite to win the ACC and become a top-four playoff seed.
An SMU win will silence critics of their addition to the conference and also point out the lackluster status of ACC football this year. Clemson just lost to their rival South Carolina, but has a chance to salvage the year with a playoff berth.
Big Ten Championship Game Betting Line
Penn State Nittany Lions (#4) vs. Oregon Ducks (#1)
- Spread: PSU +3.5 (-110), Ducks -3.5 (-110)
- Moneyline: PSU +150, Ducks -175

With a win over PSU, Oregon can wrap up an undefeated regular season and head into the playoffs as the top seed.
Penn State snuck into the Big Ten Championship via Ohio State’s shocking upset loss to Michigan last Saturday. The Buckeyes loss also put the Ducks into the top spot in the NCAAF futures.
The Nittany Lions earned the spot over the 1-loss Indiana Hoosiers because of their ranking. While the Hoosiers have lost a shot at winning the conference and getting a top-four seed in the playoffs, their exclusion secures their 1-loss record and almost assures them of a CFP spot.
