There are less than two weeks to go until the first set of CFP rankings are issued by the College Football Playoffs Selection Committee. Online college football betting sites have been taking action on CFP winners and Heisman odds since the preseason.

NCAAF futures, the Heisman odds, and the AP Top 25 rankings have shifted drastically this week after a conclusive win by the Washington Huskies over the Oregon Ducks.

AP Top 10 Rankings

  1. Georgia (7-0)
  2. Michigan (7-0)
  3. Ohio State (6-0)
  4. Florida State (6-0)
  5. Washington (6-0)
  6. Oklahoma (6-0)
  7. Penn State (6-0)
  8. Texas (5-1)
  9. Oregon (5-1)
  10. North Carolina (6-0)

The Huskies are led by quarterback Michael Penix Jr. After a late victory over Oregon last Saturday, Washington is now among the top four NCAAF programs listed in the CFP Championship futures.

Washington has also leapfrogged the red-hot Oklahoma Sooners in the latest rankings. The Huskies now have a legitimate shot at qualifying for the CFP if they can win out.

2023-2024 NCAA Championship Winner

  • Michigan +310
  • Georgia +325
  • Florida State +700
  • Washington +750
  • Ohio State +800
  • LSU +1000
  • Oklahoma +1400
  • Penn State +1400
  • Alabama +1500
  • Texas +1500

Washington is now among the top four teams in our latest CFP brackets based on the current NCAAF futures odds. If these projections hold true, Washington would face the Wolverines in the first round of the CFP.

Pac-12 Championship Odds

  • Washington Huskies +125
  • Oregon Ducks +240
  • USC Trojans +325
  • Oregon State Beavers +750
  • Utah Utes +1200
  • UCLA Bruins +5000
  • Washington State Cougars +5000

The Huskies are also a heavy favorite to win the Pac-12 Championship before all but two programs depart for other conferences at the end of this season. Next year, Washington will join the Big Ten Conference, where they’ll get a chance to routinely play the likes of Michigan and Ohio State.

Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy has jumped to the front of the pack in the following 2023 Heisman betting odds.

2023 Heisman Trophy Odds

  • Michael Penix Jr. -150
  • J.J. McCarthy +850
  • Dillon Gabriel +900
  • Jordan Travis +900
  • Jayden Daniels +1200
  • Drake Maye +2000
  • Caleb Williams +2800
  • Bo Nix +3500
  • Carson Beck +3500
  • Blake Corum +5000

  • Quinn Ewers +5000
  • Drew Allar +7000
  • Marvin Harrison Jr. +7500
  • Sam Hartman +7500
  • Shedeur Sanders +12500

The Wolverines have not let up over ten points in a game thus far in 2023. Their defense has given up 3, 7, 6, 7, 7, 10, and 7 points in consecutive weeks. Michigan has two remaining hurdles on their schedule.

On November 11th, Michigan plays the currently undefeated Penn State Nittany Lions. On November 25th, they face the Ohio State Buckeyes for the whole ball of wax in the Big Ten.

Washington still has USC, Oregon State, and Utah remaining in 2023.
