Betting On College Football’s Conference Championship Games

This Friday and Saturday, Conference Championship Games are occurring across the nation which will clear up the playoff picture for the CFP. Here’s our take on each Power Five Conference Championship Game.

Pac-12 Championship Game Betting Line

Oregon (#5) vs. Washington (#3)

  • Point Spread: Ducks -10.0, Huskies +10.0
  • Moneyline: Ducks -380, Huskies +290
  • Over/Under: 66.0

Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV, will host the 2023-24 Pac-12 Championship Game, which could be the final time the game is ever played. The future is still uncertain for the future of the conference, as only two programs remain committed for next season.

Set for an 8:00 p.m. kickoff on Friday, the Huskies are getting 10 points at legal college football betting sites. The Ducks lost to Washington in a nail-biter earlier this season, but Oregon is on a roll as of late.

Based on the current CFP rankings, either team seems certain to make it into the playoffs with a win.

Big 12 Championship Game Betting Linne

Oklahoma State (#18) vs. Texas (#7)

  • Point Spread: Cowboys +14.5, Longhorns -14.5
  • Moneyline: Cowboys +450, Longhorns -650
  • Over/Under: 55.5

This year’s Big 12 Championship Game winner will not significantly impact betting on the College Football Playoffs. Texas is favored by 14.5 points over the Cowboys, and they’ll need a miracle to make it to the CFP.

SEC Championship Game Betting Line

Georgia (#1) vs. Alabama (#8)

  • Point Spread: Bulldogs -5.5, Crimson Tide +5.5
  • Moneyline: Bulldogs -220, Crimson Tide +180
  • Over/Under: 54.0

The SEC Championship begins at 4:00 p.m. this Saturday, and the number one Georgia Bulldogs are favored to win by 5.5 points. Georgia’s campus is an hour away from Mercedez Benz Stadium in Atlanta, giving the Dogs a significant home-field edge.

Georgia is favored in the odds for betting on the CFP National Champion, and they’ll certainly attain the number one seed if they beat Alabama. The Crimson Tide are also in the playoffs with a win, which will create some confusion at the top of the heap.

ACC Championship Game Betting Line

Louisville (#14) vs. Florida State (#4)

  • Point Spread: Cardinals +2.5, Seminoles -2.5
  • Moneyline: Cardinals +115, Seminoles -135
  • Over/Under: 48.5

The ACC Championship will mean nothing if the Louisville Cardinals win, but the FSU Seminoles have a shot at the playoffs if they can finish the season undefeated. The game kicks off at 8:00 p.m., and we’ve seen the spread move a half-point in the Noles’ favor since the line debuted.

An Alabama win against GA places FSU’s playoff hopes in jeopardy.

Big Ten Championship Game Betting Line

Michigan (#2) vs. Iowa (#16)

  • Point Spread: Wolverines -23.5, Hawkeyes +23.5
  • Moneyline: Wolverines -2500, Hawkeyes +1000
  • Over/Under: 35.5

Because of division play in the Big Ten, their championship game rarely features the top two teams in the conference. At 8:00 p.m., Michigan will attempt to wrap up its season with an undefeated record and move on to the College Football Playoffs. Iowa is not expected to put up much of a fight and is a 23.5-point underdog on Saturday.

A Hawkeyes win would probably mean that no Big Ten teams will qualify as a final four program.
