Day 2 Of NFL Draft Betting – Who Will Pick Will Levis?

In a scene reminiscent of the 2005 NFL Draft when Aaron Rodgers was left in the green room for hours, Kentucky Wildcats quarterback Will Levis was not selected in last night’s first round.

Many experts featured Levis near the top of their boards, but the Draft was top-loaded with QB talent, as three of the first four selections were QBs. Now that he’s made it to day 2, NFL Draft betting sites have created a line on the team that will add him to their roster.

NFL Draft Odds For The Team That Will Select Will Levis

  • Los Angeles Rams +400
  • Tennessee Titans +400
  • Las Vegas Raiders +600
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers +1300
  • Minnesota Vikings +1300
  • Washington Commanders +1400
  • Detroit Lions +1400
  • Seattle Seahawks +1400
  • New Orleans Saints +1600
  • Green Bay Packers +1600
  • Dallas Cowboys +1900
  • Atlanta Falcons +2000

Leading the NFL Draft odds to pick Will Levis are the LA Rams, Tennessee Titans, and Las Vegas Raiders. All three of these franchises feature journeyman quarterback starters that are north of 30.

Levis To The Rams

Matthew Stafford won a Lombardi with the Rams in 2021, but last year he only played nine games due to injury. Stafford is entering his fifteenth season in the NFL, but we’re now in a post-Brady era where QBs can play well into their mid-40s at the top level.

Even with all that considered, Levis could be a solid stop-gap for four years to come in when Stafford gets hurt. Levis’ second-round salary will not command the same cap hit as Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, and Anthony Richardson, who were all picked in the top four.

That means Levis could comfortably slide into the backup role in LA and learn under Stafford. The Rams hold pick number 35, the 5th selection of the second round. Betting on the Los Angeles Rams to draft Levis will payout at $4 for every $1 risked.

Levis To The Titans

While Ryan Tannehill has proven to be a solid leader in Tennessee, he hasn’t been able to lead them to a Super Bowl title. Nashville is only a 215-mile drive away from Lexington, Kentucky, so the Titans’ scouts have certainly seen enough game film on Levis.

Whether or not he is placed at the top of Tennessee’s priory list remains to be seen, but the Titans could use at least a project at the quarterback position to either backup Tannehill or to take over in the future. Tennessee picks 10th in the second round at number 41.

Levis To The Raiders

Las Vegas just signed Jimmy Garoppolo to a three-year contract in the offseason, but he’s missed significant time due to injury over the past few seasons.

A second-round pick is not a huge price to pay for a player grading out like Will Levis, and the move makes a lot of sense if he slips to pick number 38. Online NFL sportsbooks are paying out at 6-to-1 on Levis getting drafted by Las Vegas.

Coverage of the second and third rounds of the 2023 NFL Draft begins tonight at 7 PM on ESPN and NFL Network.
