The winner of the Royal Rumble is awarded a WrestleMania match for a WWE championship belt. However, the championship picture in the WWE has been muddied following the unification of the Raw and SmackDown belts and the creation of the World Heavyweight Championship.
Pro wrestling betting sites are favoring CM Punk to win the Rumble, and that makes a lot of sense from a storyline perspective. What’s not certain is the belt for which he will challenge for.
Since the winner has the option of choosing the champion they will face, speculation has been that Punk would opt for a WrestleMania match with Seth Rollins. However, Rollins’ recent injuries have placed that outcome in doubt.
On Monday’s episode of RAW, Rollins ensured fans that he would try to make it to Mania.

- LA Knight +700
- The Rock +700
- Drew McIntyre +1000

Last week, the Royal Rumble odds were updated to include Maxwell Jacob Friedman, better known as MJF. He recently reigned as the Heavyweight Champion in AEW for voer 400 days, and his promos have long detailed the expiration of his contract in 2024.
MJF’s odds to win places him in a tie for sixth place overall, which indicates a fairly certain liklihood of showing up. He’s been removed from the roster on AEW’s website, but it could be a work to stir up the belief that MJF has departed the company.
But why would that be a good thing for AEW? Friedman being removed from the online roster is causing fans to watch the Royal Rumble to see if he shows up. Why would you send business to your competitor?
Also listed is Okada who has just departed New Japan Pro Wrestling but has yet to announce where he has signed. AEW owner Tony Khan has hinted at big news on social media, but again, leaving the announcement hanging only adds to the speculation that Okada could be going to the WWE for the Rumble.
This Saturday would be a great time for Brock Lesnar to return, and he is always a force in a battle royale setting. Stone Cold Steve Austin is also listed, but he would never need a win at the Rumble to demand a main event at Mania.
2024 Women’s Royal Rumble Odds To Win
- Bayley +135
- Becky Lynch +200
- Jade Cargill +300
- Nia Jax +800
- Raquel Rodriguez +900
- Bianca Belair +1000
- Mercedes Mone/Sasha Banks +1200
- Ronda Rousey +5000
Entertainment sportsbooks are also taking action on the winner of the women’s Royal Rumble. Jade Cargill has been working in NXT following her time in AEW, and this Saturday could be her coming out party on the main roster.
Mercedes Mone, aka Sasha Banks, is also rumored to return at the Rumble, ending a 2-year hiatus from the company. Former UFC Champion Ronda Rousey has been away from the company for a bit, and while her return wouldn’t cause that big of a pop, you can earn a 5x payout if you bet on her and she wins.
Here are the remaining entertainment prop bets for the Royal Rumble.
