Alexandre Pantoja and Kai Asakura
  • Early Prelims Begin Saturday At 6 PM On UFC Fight Pass
  • Preliminary Matches Begin At 8 PM On ESPN/ESPN+
  • The Main Card Of UFC 310 Begins At 10 PM On ESPN+ (Pay-Per-View, ESPN+ Subscription Required)

This Saturday night, Alexandre Pantoja will defend his UFC Flyweight Championship against Kai Asakura in the main event of UFC 310.

Pantoja won the title at UFC 290 when he submitted Alex Perez in the first round, and his bout on Saturday will mark his third defense of the championship.

Kai Asakura is a seasoned veteran in the ranks of Rizin, a Japanese mixed-martial-arts promotion. He has compiled a 21-4 overall win-loss record, but this will be the first time he has competed in the UFC.

Alexandre Pantoja vs. Kai Asakura Betting Line

  • Pantoja -260
  • Asakura +215
  • Over: 2.5 (-135)
  • Under: 2.5 (+105)
  • Bovada LV

Pantoja is a favorite to win across each of the UFC betting sites that we frequent.

Holding multiple online sportsbook accounts lets gamblers shop the lines and get the best payout for their dollar.

The same odds for Asakura are offered at BetUS, but the moneyline for Pantoja is five points lower at -265. BetOnline is currently offering a +265 moneyline on Asakura, his most profitable option on the board.

Anyone betting on Pantoja to win should do it at Bovada.

Method of Victory Props

  • Alexandre Pantoja Wins Inside Distance +115
  • Alexandre Pantoja Wins by Decision or Technical Decision +240
  • Kai Asakura Wins Inside Distance +300
  • Kai Asakura Wins by Decision or Technical Decision +900
  • Draw or Technical Draw +8000

The above UFC prop bet for victory type suggests that Pantoja will win inside the distance, but based on their prior history, that may not be the safest option.

A bulk of Asakura’s fights have been stopped before the fifth round. Of his 21 victories, only 5 have been awarded by decision. Kai is a knockout specialist and a striker, but he does have 3 submission wins as well.

Three of Asakura’s four losses have come via KO.

Versatility is the name of the game for Pantoja. He’s won eight fights by knockout, ten by submission, and ten by decision. He’s never been knocked out or submitted, as all five of his losses have come via the judge’s scorecard.

Although a Pantoja win by decision is rated second overall at +240, we believe it is the safest bet and is where we are laying our action for the main event of UFC 310.
