Pro Wrestling Betting Preview For AEW All Out And WWE Payback

a promo for 2023 AEW All Out and WWE Payback over a crowd of fans

Pro wrestling fans around the world are in for a rare treat as two major events are scheduled for this weekend from rival promotions, WWE and AEW. On Sunday, AEW All Out will air on pay-per-view from Chicago’s United Arena. WWE’s Payback premium live event will air on Peacock from Pittsburgh this Saturday.

Legal pro wrestling betting sites have created odds for most matches that have been announced, and there are some deviations in the odds that can be exploited.

Betting On AEW All Out

Just one weekend after packing fans to the rafters in London’s Wembley Arena at All In, AEW is airing another PPV that has been slow in building a card.

So far, there are four confirmed matches, with a fifth featuring CM Punk in jeopardy of being nixed. The reason? It seems that Punk has gotten into another scrap backstage. This time it was at All In with “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry, who apparently has a beef with CM Punk over a dispute as to whether real glass should have been used in an angle.

Punk is highly trained in mixed martial arts and competed twice in the UFC. All reports suggest that the encounter ended quickly with a choke hold applied by Punk, with AEW Owner and CEO Tony Khan standing nearby.

At a minimum, a suspension is likely forthcoming for both Perry and Punk. Fans will find out for sure this Sunday if CM Punk is forced to no-show his hometown of Chicago.

Here are the current AEW All Out odds.

AEW TBS Championship Match

  • Kris Statlander (c) -1000
  • Ruby Soho +500

AEW TNT Championship Match

  • Luchasaurus (c) -160
  • Darby Allin +120

Kenny Omega vs. Konosuke Takeshita

  • Kenny Omega -500
  • Konosuke Takeshita +300

Miro vs. Powerhouse Hobbs

  • Miro -200
  • Powerhouse Hobbs +150

Betting On WWE Payback

Saturday night’s Payback PLE features odds for all known matches, and there are opportunities to shop the lines for better payouts for three of them.

The following WWE betting lines have been provided by BetOnline, but where applicable, we’ve included the odds for the three matches offered at BetUS in parenthesis for comparison.

Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus

  • Becky Lynch -1000 (-400)
  • Trish Stratus +500 (+250)

WWE Women’s World Championship Match

  • Rhea Ripley (c) -5000 (-700)
  • Raquel Rodriguez +1000 (+400)

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match

  • Seth Rollins (c) -1000 (-500)
  • Shinsuke Nakamura +500 (+300)

If you plan on betting on any of the above three favorites (Lynch, Ripley, or Rollins), it will cost you a lot less money to earn a dollar at BetUS. For example, betting on Rhea Ripley at BetOnline will cost you $40 just to net a dollar. The same result will only cost you $7 at BetOnline.

The best spot to lay some action on underdog winners is at BetOnline, as the moneylines are higher in all cases. Betting a dollar on Raquel Rodriguez will net $4 at BetUS, but will earn $10 at BetOnline.

LA Knight vs. The Miz

  • LA Knight -2500
  • The Miz +800

WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship Match

  • Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn (c) -1000
  • The Judgment Day +500

WWE United States Championship Match

  • Rey Mysterio (c) -500
  • Austin Theory +300

The above wrestling betting lines will remain active until showtime and will likely shift between now and then, so place a wager now if you like the odds.
