The Confirmation Hearing of President Donald Trump’s cabinet selections stretches into another day as Tulsi Gabbard and Kash Patel will be grilled by the US Senate Judiciary Committee this morning.

Kash Patel has been picked by Trump to be the new director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Today at 9:30 a.m., Patel’s confirmation hearing with the Senate Judiciary Committee will begin.
If confirmed, Patel will replace Christopher Wray, who was appointed director by Trump in 2017. The position of FBI director is supposed to be a 10-year term, but Trump stated that Wray would not remain in that role if he were elected president.
