Bet On The Self-Proclaimed Best Band Of All Time: Oasis

Oasis logoThe 90s band Oasis recently announced a new 2025 tour, and online sportsbooks offer betting odds for the upcoming event.

After a nearly 15-year hiatus from the band, brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher have made amends and will tour together later this year. The new tour entitled “Oasis Live ’25” will consist of 38 reunion shows spanning Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Australia. The new tour will kick off July 4, 2025, at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. The tour will conclude on November 23, 2025, at the Estádio do Morumbi in São Paulo, Brazil, if the brothers can make it that long.

Oasis History and Controversy

In 1995, after the release of their second album entitled (What’s the Story) Morning Glory, Oasis solidified themselves as one of the biggest bands in the world, especially in the United Kingdom. However, their success was worldwide as songs like “Wonderwall” and “Champagne Supernova” found mainstream success in multiple countries, including the USA.

After finding success, Liam Gallagher (singer) would say that Oasis is the best band in the world. While some fans would agree with the statement, and at the time, they were on top of their game, it was one of the many comments that would eventually lead to their downfall. Liam would also tell the media that his band will be bigger than the Beatles. Later, he also stated that what Oasis did in three years took the Beatles eight.

The singer’s comments in 1996 did not sit well with the rest of the band and fans alike. Noel Gallagher (guitarist) would later tell the media that the band was embarrassed by the singer’s comments. He also said the Beatles were their most significant influence and that his band wasn’t as good as the Fab Four. The brothers would eventually go their separate ways in 2009 after years of fighting and disagreements.

Fully self-taught because no school would have him, Anderson began writing professionally in 2002. After working with various entertainment sites and tech blogs, Anderson jumped ship to go all in on sports betting in 2014. After all, if you’re going to write, you might as well write about what you love! With SportsBetting.Legal, Anderson’s been doing exactly that in varying capacities since 2019.

While Anderson prefers boxing, he’s not a great fan of MMA or the UFC, and celebrity boxing has soured him on the Sweet Science. He still thinks boxing is tops, but he’s lately become more interested in sports that feature a wider variety of odds on the boards. That said, you’ll catch Anderson on any given Sunday not betting on football, as he prefers baseball and hockey when it comes to the team game.

In addition to sports gambling, Anderson is a stone-cold crypto bro. He might have missed the early rush on Bitcoin, but various altcoins have been paying off handsomely. Plus, the strategic aspects of crypto – including day trading and swing trading (and bragging about it endlessly to anyone fool enough to listen) – have enough similarity with sports betting that it’s a natural match. Anderson also thinks Trump won in 2020, but he bet on Uncle Joe because he knew the fix was in.

Anderson still hasn’t been able to find an Xbox Series X in stock anywhere.
