The Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers are the final two teams standing that will contend for this year’s NHL championship. Both franchises have plenty on the line and are four victories away from fulfilling the dreams of generations of fans and cementing the legacies of each championship player.
This is the third time the Panthers have been to the Stanley Cup Finals. They have yet to win, and their most recent loss was last season when they fell to the Vegas Golden Knights in 5 games.
The Oilers have won the Finals five times, but the last time happened in 1990, 3 years before the Panthers were established.
Betting on the 2024 Stanley Cup Final commences this Saturday night at 8:10 PM on ABC and ESPN+. Florida will host the first two games at Amerant Bank Arena, and as the home team, the Panthers are favored by a goal and a half for Game 1.
