NASCAR 2020 Alsco Uniforms 500 Revs Engines Of Eager Sports Bettors

The opportunities for legal sports betting have been few and far between over the last several weeks, but NASCAR is back in season and tonight’s 2020 Alsco Uniforms 500 has got oddsmakers busy creating a bevy of enticing lines.

The race was originally scheduled to occur last night, but heavy rains from Tropical Storm Bertha caused the event to be postponed, and it is now rescheduled for tonight at 7 PM.

The race will air on Fox Sports 1 (FS1), with initial positioning set as a reversal of last Sunday’s top 20 finishers, also held at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, the location of tonight’s competition.

Below are a few examples of what online sportsbooks are providing for NASCAR betting lines. As you can see, the odds for all drivers are well into the positive, which can lead to a hefty payday if savvy NASCAR fans can select the winner.

NASCAR Alsco Uniforms 500 odds are provided by Bovada Sportsbook.

Simulation results and historical data are suggesting that Jimmie Johnson has a high likelihood of winning the race according to CBS Sports. His current odds are sitting at +1400, which means if you wager $100 on Johnson and he wins, Superman will bring home bettors $1400 to celebrate with. You can buy a whole lot of milk with that! (Yes, we know, that’s a different race, but still.)

Odds are also available on a host of head-to-head options like the Keselowski vs. Elliot betting line below. Elliot seems poised to finish ahead of Keselowski, but anything can happen in the world of NASCAR from a blown engine to a wreck and everything in between. These lines require both drivers to start the race for action to occur, as all bets will be voided if either driver misses the race for any reason.

Driver H2H – Keselowski vs. Elliot

  • Brad Keselowski #2 +145
  • Chase Elliott #9 -190

Oddsmakers have also sectioned off groupings of drivers and created a sort of mini race-within-a-race with odds that offer more favorable cash payouts. All odds are well into the positive, and there is a one-in-five chance of selecting the top finisher among the group and more than tripling the amount of money risked.
