Betting On NFL Playoff Clinching Scenarios For Week 15

We are one game into the 15th week of play in the 2025-26 NFL season, no franchises have locked up a playoff spot. There are three opportunities to clinch this weekend, and the NFL odds suggest that two berths are favorable.

Week 15 NFL Playoff Clinching Scenarios

The Denver Broncos

The Broncos hold an 11-2 record, with a 2-game lead over the LA Chargers in the AFC West. They play at home against Green Bay on Sunday and will clinch a playoff berth if they win. They can also clinch if the combination of a Houston loss to Arizona and an Indianapolis loss to Seattle this weekend.

Green Bay Packers vs. Denver Broncos

  • Spread: Green Bay -2.0 (-110), Denver +2.0 (-110)
  • Moneyline: Green Bay -130, Denver +110
  • Total: Over 43.0 (-110), Under 43.0 (-110)

Arizona Cardinals vs. Houston Texans

  • Spread: Arizona +9.5 (-110), Houston -9.5 (-110)
  • Moneyline: Arizona +350, Houston -480
  • Total: Over 42.5 (-105), Under 42.5 (-115)

Indianapolis Colts vs. Seattle Seahawks

  • Spread: Indianapolis +13.5 (-105), Seattle -13.5 (-115)
  • Moneyline: Indianapolis +625, Seattle -1000
  • Total: Over 43.0 (-110), Under 43.0 (-110)

If all goes as predicted, the Packers will earn a tough road win in Denver, and the Cardinals will lose, causing the Broncos to miss their chance of clinching.

The current NFL futures suggest that the Broncos and Patriots have an equal chance at earning the number one seed in the AFC.

The New England Patriots

New England also sits at 11-2. They face their AFC East rival, the Buffalo Bills, at home on Sunday, and will clinch the division if they win. The Patriots can also secure a playoff berth without a win if Houston loses to Arizona and Indianapolis loses to Seattle.

Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots

  • Spread: Buffalo -1.0 (-110), New England +1.0 (-110)
  • Moneyline: Buffalo -120, New England EVEN
  • Total: Over 49.0 (-110), Under 49.0 (-110)

The Bills are historically a tough out, and NFL sportsbooks believe that Buffalo will scratch out a win on Sunday and spoil the Patriots chances of earning a playoff spot.

The Los Angeles Rams

LA has a record of 10-3, good enough for the top seed in the NFC at the moment. They play Detroit at home in Week 16 and will clinch a playoff berth if they win.

The Rams’ aspirations of securing the number one seed are being held in check by their NFC West division-mates, the 10-3 Seattle Seahawks, and the 9-4 San Francisco 49ers.

Detroit Lions vs. Los Angeles Rams

  • Spread: Detroit +6.5 (-115), Rams -6.5 (-105)
  • Moneyline: Detroit +230, Rams -280
  • Total: Over 55.0 (-110), Under 55.0 (-110)

Los Angeles is nearly a touchdown favorite at home, and will be tough to unseat as the top NFC seed if they win. We’re betting on the Rams to beat the Lions, but we’re not sure they will cover the 6.5 points.

Developments In The NFC South

Following the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ loss to the Atlanta Falcons last night, the Carolina Panthers now find themselves in position to take hold of the division lead in the NFC South.

They are currently a half-game ahead of the Bucs in the standings (7-6 vs. 7-7), and are favored to beat the New Orleans Saints on the road this Sunday to take a full game lead with only

Carolina Panthers vs. New Orleans Saints

  • Spread: Carolina -3.0 (EVEN), New Orleans +3.0 (-120)
  • Moneyline: Carolina -150, New Orleans +130
  • Total: Over 40.5 (-110), Under 40.5 (-110)

What’s crazy is that with only three games remaining on the schdeule, Tampa and Carolina play twice. Futures odds give the Bucs the edge, but at least the championship and automatic playoff berth will be decided on the field.
