A growing rift has emerged between President Donald Trump and Marjorie Taylor Greene, once staunch allies. The conflict centers on her insistence on releasing Jeffrey Epstein-related files, her criticism of Trump’s foreign-policy focus, and her rejection of party orthodoxy.
Trump has publicly called her “wacky” and a “ranting lunatic,” pulled his endorsement, and signaled support for a primary challenger. Greene, in turn, accuses him of betraying “America First” principles, threatens to fight back politically, and warns that his harsh rhetoric is endangering her safety.

Trump has not publicly named a specific person as his pick to replace MTG. In a Truth Social post, he said he’ll give his “complete and unyielding support” to a primary challenger “if the right person runs.”
