The NBA Play-In Tournament: Betting Lines For All Four Games

The final seeding for the 2025 NBA Playoffs in both conferences has been set, and the play-in tournament games are scheduled to begin tomorrow night.

Lines for all known games, as well as Game 1 lines and series prices for known round 1 matchups, are posted now at NBA Playoff betting sites.

The first play-in matchup tips off tomorrow night in Orlando when the Atlanta Hawks travel to face the Magic.

The winner of this game will secure the seventh seed and face the number two Boston Celtics in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. The Magic are favored to win by five points, implying that the Hawks will lose and face the winner of the Heat vs. Bulls.

Later tomorrow night, the Grizzlies visit the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco.

Despite their play-in status, NBA sportsbooks are suggesting a deep playoff run for the Warriors. Golden State is the third-rated team in the Western Conference futures behind the Lakers and Thunder.

The Warriors are favored to win by 6.5 and become the seven seed. Golden State’s Round 1 series would be against the Houston Rockets. If the line is accurate, Memphis will play the winner of the Mavericks vs. Kings game for the eighth seed.

Wednesday at 8:10 p.m., the Bulls and Heat will tip off in Chicago.

The narrow one-point spread implies that either team can win. Chicago’s edge in the point spread is likely only due to their home court advantage. The winner will play the loser of the Magic and Hawks game for the rights to play the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the playoffs.

Later Wednesday night at 10:00 p.m., the Kings and Mavericks tip off in Northern California.

The final round of the 2025 NBA Play-In Tournament will happen on Friday. Four Game 1 contests for the first round of the NBA Playoffs are scheduled for Saturday.
