Betting On Forbidden Door: AEW Odds Offered For Entire Card

a promo for AEW's Forbidden Door 2023 pay-per-view

This Sunday at 8 PM, All-Elite Wrestling’s second annual Forbidden Door pay-per-view will begin. The term “forbidden door” refers to an old-school policy of not promoting matches with wrestlers from other companies.

AEW owner Tony Khan is a fan of wrestling’s past but aims for his promotion to create new norms and does not want to be beholden to old standards.

His Forbidden Door PPV is a perfect example of that logic. Instead of sheepishly featuring an occasional match between wrestlers from AEW and a rival promotion, they’ve partnered up with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) for an entire card of matches.

Odds are now posted at pro wrestling betting sites, but it took some time for them to arrive due to each match being announced so close to show time.

10-Man Tag Team Match Odds

  • The BCC, Shota Umino & Konosuke Takeshita -200
  • The Elite, Eddie Kingston & Tomohiro Ishii +150

Orange Cassidy has been popular at the merchandise table, but wrestling fans are mixed on his in-ring antics. AEW has booked Cassidy to the moon, and he’s been untouchable for the past few months. Place the maximum bet on Orange Cassidy before his odds drop lower.

AEW International Championship Odds

  • Orange Cassidy (Champion) -500
  • Zack Sabre Jr. +300
  • Katsuyori Shibata +700
  • Daniel Garcia +850

AEW Women’s World Championship Odds

  • Toni Storm (Champion) -2000
  • Willow Nightingale +700

AEW World Championship Odds

  • MJF (Champion) -5000
  • Hiroshi Tanahashi +1000

Maxwell Jacob Friedman is the hottest wrestler in the industry this side of the WWE’s Roman Reigns. Entertainment prop bets have placed MJF as a sure winner, as his -5000 moneyline translates to a 98% chance of victory.

IWGP United States Championship Odds

  • Will Ospreay -250
  • Kenny Omega (Champion) +180

IWGP World Heavyweight Championship Odds

  • SANADA (Champion) -5000
  • Jack Perry +1000

Okada vs. Danielson Odds

  • Kazuchika Okada -550
  • Bryan Danielson +325

CM Punk vs. Kojima Odds

  • CM Punk -10000
  • Satoshi Kojima +1100

Forbidden Door will mark the return of CM Punk to an AEW PPV following an injury he suffered at All Out in 2022. You’ll have to wager $100 on CM Punk to earn a dollar at online entertainment sportsbooks.

The locker room is reportedly divided on CM Punk upon his return.

That division became clear last Saturday with the debut of AEW Collision on TNT, where everyone that’s been on the outs in the promotion seemed to have a featured role.

CM Punk opened the show, and the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega were nowhere to be seen. Both Punk and the Elite are featured on the Forbidden Door card, so tune in for the post-event press conference to see if there are any fireworks.

AEW Forbidden Door can be purchased streaming on Bleacher Report or via most major cable outlets. Forbidden Door can also be seen theatrically in select markets – check local listings.
